b. 1996 as Joshua Aaron Anderson in Houston, Texas now creating work under the moniker j. bilhan. I am interested in the sensation of being human and the attempting to make sense of the interweaving of parallel realities as contrasted between the billions of creatures on the planet; specifically, how do those in the role of "artist" respond to the violent normalcy of the corporate capitalist state of today? Ideology, psychology, and desire are the main component aspects of my inquisition.
My practice has allowed me to work in mediums like photography, film, sculpture, painting, audio, curation, music, and literature.
